What it is

Get to know your gut with the KÄLLA Microbiome Test.

This at-home test is a simple way to get to know your gut health status, helping you make informed decisions about your diet and lifestyle, based on your unique gut composition.

Who it's for

The KÄLLA Microbiome Test is for anyone who is curious about the state of their gut health.

Your results will help you understand what and how much of each bacteria species you have in your gut and whether you are in a normal range for that species.

You will also get dietary and lifestyle tips to help you optimise the functions of your gut bacteria, and understand to what extent your gut bacteria protects you from certain health conditions.

How to take

You take your stool sample comfortably and discreetly from home. After you have taken the sample and activated it (via the KÄLLA website), send it back to us with the prepaid return envelope included in your kit.

As soon as we receive your sample, it is processed in our partner laboratory and analysed using the latest 16S-Next-Generation-DNA-Sequencing methods. You'll receive your results within 4-6 weeks.

Shipping & Returns

We usually ship within one business day from our warehouse in the south of Sweden. We deliver to Sweden, Denmark, and selected EU countries.

Delivery takes 1-3 working days within Sweden and Denmark, and 5-7 days to other EU countries. Subscribers in Sweden and Denmark receive free shipping on every order. For all other orders, shipping costs 39 SEK/DKK (location based to all other EU countries).

We offer a 30-day return policy. This product is not included in our 30-day money-back guarantee which offers a full refund if you're not happy with the results.

FAQs

Should I adjust my diet before taking my test?

No, you do not need to change your diet. Eating as you normally do, allows us to give you the most accurate results.

However if you are experiencing any unusual gastric symptoms, have just undergone surgery, or if you’re currently taking antibiotics, we advice waiting several months before you take the KÄLLA Microbiome Test.

How long will it take to receive my results?

From receiving your sample at the lab, it will take 4-6 weeks to deliver your results. You will be notified via email when your results are ready.

What language will my results be in?

We currently only offer the Microbiome Test results in English.
