Each of our products is formulated from a specific live bacteria strain to deliver a specific health benefit. FOR RELIEF is intended for those looking to improve their digestive health and relieve symptoms of an imbalanced gut. FOR IMMUNE HEALTH is specifically for those looking to support their immune systems against seasonal colds. And FOR REPAIR protects the body from the negative impact of stress. If you feel that all three products are right for you, we recommend FOR LIFE, which includes all three products in a single delivery at a reduced cost. 


All KÄLLA products are manufactured in Lund, Sweden.

Yes, it’s fine to take two or three products together via the FOR LIFE pack. Each product contains a different bacterial strain or composition of bacterial strains to deliver its unique benefits. If you’re taking all three products at once you may initially experience some mild side effects (like gas, mild constipation or diarrhoea) as a result of the live bacteria. This is normal. 

Yes, the probiotic species found in our products were originally isolated from the gut mucus of healthy humans via biopsy, not from animal sources. After extraction the species was fermented in a medium of non-animal-origin in a controlled sterile lab environment. The bulking agent used to form the powders is also vegetable-based. 
The Vitamin D in FOR IMMUNE HEALTH is sourced from microalgae. The Folic Acid and Vitamin B12 is also of non-animal origin.

Yes, all KÄLLA products are gluten-free.

Yes, all KÄLLA products are lactose-free.

Yes, all KÄLLA products are soy-free.

FOR RELIEF contains L. plantarum DSM 9843

FOR IMMUNE HEALTH contains L. plantarum DSM 15312 and  L. paracasei DSM 13434. 

FOR REPAIR contains L. plantarum DSM 15312.

No, you can take all three of our products at once without problems. Each product delivers a unique health benefit after all. However, we don’t recommend taking more than the daily allowance of each product, if you do you may find that you experience excess gas, mild constipation and / or diarrhoea.

Yes, it’s safe to take all of our products when you’re pregnant or breastfeeding.

Yes, KÄLLA products are safe for children from 1 year of age. Children should take a half dosage and teenagers are able to take the full daily amount. 

When starting a daily probiotic, some people experience more gas, minor constipation or mild diarrhoea. These reactions are generally temporary and a sign that the live bacteria is working. Health issues connected to an imbalanced microbiota like skin problems may also flare up slightly. 

If the reactions cause you problems, stop taking KÄLLA products until the symptoms have ceased. You can then build-up to a full dosage, starting with one fourth or third of a sachet, gradually increasing the amount over the course of a week or two. If you still experience negative reactions, consult a health professional.

Yes, and it’s advisable to take a probiotic whilst taking a course of antibiotics. It is best to wait a few hours between taking your antibiotics and taking a KÄLLA product.

Supporting the gut microbiota may support the vaginal microbiota too. If you have mild symptoms or occasional Candida, you may take KÄLLA products without any problems. However, if you have more severe and regular episodes you should treat Candida with a health professional first and foremost. Parasites should always be treated with a health professional. 

In general, no. But if you have a serious medical condition, especially if you are severely immune compromised, you should always consult your doctor.

HOW TO TAKE

KÄLLA powders can be sprinkled into a cold beverage like water or smoothie or over cold foods like yoghurt. It’s best to take them in the morning or an empty stomach. Avoid adding KÄLLA products to hot food and drink. Do not add KÄLLA products to alcohol.

For optimal results you should take your KÄLLA product every day. Probiotics colonise the gut to replenish the existing bacteria in your gut and deliver benefits. However, they are transient and need to be topped-up over time to continue to work.

Everyone is different and each product is unique. 

Some people feel the impact of FOR RELIEF within a week of taking their daily dose, for others it takes longer. The localised benefits of improved digestion and the decrease in IBS symptoms is something that can be felt for most people within their 30 day course.

You may – for example – only reflect on the impact of FOR IMMUNE HEALTH after the end of the winter season, when you realise how few colds you caught in comparison to last year or to those around you.  

The benefits of FOR REPAIR on your overall health as a result of stress may not be something you physically notice, but are thankful for later in life. 

As long as you continue to take your daily dose, your KÄLLA product will continue to deliver its benefits.

Yes, it is fine to complement your KÄLLA product with other supplements. It is also fine to take KÄLLA products with medication, however we always encourage you to check with your doctor if you are at all concerned.

No, our protective packaging keeps the live bacteria in-tact. KÄLLA products can be kept at room temperature, however it’s best to avoid direct sunlight and areas of high humidity (above a stove for example). 

ORDERS, DELIVERY AND RETURNS

Currently we deliver to Europe and the UK. If you are ordering from the UK, products will be exempt from VAT. Your order is exempt from customs duties as long as it is below £135.00.

Orders within Sweden will generally arrive within 3 working days of the order being processed. Orders within the UK and Europe will generally arrive within 7 working days of the order being processed.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

No, you can buy a 30 day supply or subscribe and receive your products monthly at a discounted price. Subscriptions can be paused or cancelled at any point. 

When you shop KÄLLA products you are given the option to subscribe both on the product pages and whilst you checkout. 

Your first order is delivered to you with a premium box to store your daily doses in. Although it is constructed from 100% recyclable card, we want to go a step further to help the environment. This is why your subsequent orders are delivered as refills in a recycled, lightweight box which produces less emissions due its construction and weight. However, your fourth subscription order will be delivered in a premium box to replace your existing one.

This means your subscription will look like this:

You can cancel your subscription at any time within your KÄLLA account, under MY SUBSCRIPTION. To avoid being charged for your next product and receiving it, please cancel your subscription by DAY 12 of your current course.

Yes, you can pause your subscription and reschedule it for another date within your KÄLLA Account, under MY SUBSCRIPTION.

Vouchers can be added to your order in the “Got a Voucher or Referred by a Friend” box during checkout. If you’ve received a discount code via e-mail or by clicking on a link from a friend or a blogger the discount will be immediately added to your order. You’ll know the discount has been successfully added as the full price will be crossed out and the lower cost will be listed beneath it.

SUSTAINABILITY

Yes, all of our packaging is recyclable. All of our cardboard packaging (premium and refill) can be recycled with cardboard via your local facility. 

All of our daily dose sachets are made from foil and a thin layer of plastic to keep the live bacteria in-tact. These can be recycled with plastics at your local facility. Alternatively, all first-time orders include a pre-paid envelope, in which you can send back your used sachets to us, which we recycle via TerraCycle® who transform 100% of the materials into new products. In order to minimise wastage, our refill boxes can also be used to send your used sachets back to us for recycling. Simply request a pre-paid sticker from support@kalla.com
